About TCN

An international scholarly community for the transcultural era

The Transcultural Network studies cultural phenomena being reshaped across national, ethnic, linguistic, and cultural boundaries amid digital transformation and the spread of artificial intelligence.

Mission & Vision

A scholarly network for intersection, convergence, and creation

We take a multidisciplinary approach to changing realities—including intercultural contact and mobility, platform-based societies, and digital creative ecosystems—to advance new theories and methods of transcultural research.

Working through our secretariat in Seoul, experts from diverse regions collaborate through conferences, research projects, joint publications, and policy studies to build a lasting foundation for international scholarly cooperation.
